What is it?
Founded in 2009, PROJECT STAR Concert Series, is an concert-producing educational program designed to present, promote, preserve and celebrate all genre of music. The concert series, its performances, educational activities and publications are administered by The Bluegoose Blues Foundation.
PROJECT STAR is an outlet for those serious musicians to get their music heard. Our mission is to create an avenue for independent artists to gain exposure throughout the south by touring in select cities. We will create venues to perform, hire headliners to bring the crowd, and allow PROJECT STAR members to showcase their talents. Also, we will work with other promoters to help you get the chance to perform throughout the US.

Goal
Our goal is to open musical markets that everyday people, under normal financial constraints, could not open. This program is made possible by people like you. All proceeds generated through and for PROJECT STAR benefit artists by finding markets to produce musical stars. With every member, more opportunities arise to produce more venues for artists to perform and attract a fan base to support them.
Membership
We welcome all genres of music to participate in PROJECT STAR. Becoming a member is easy. Write and send us a sample of your music. As a member of the Bluegoose Blues Fountation's PROJECT STAR, you will have the chance to tour throughout the south to promote your genre of music. Members will perform and have the opportunity to sell merchandise at each venue. We offer assistance in CD duplication/Distribution for completed projects, making it possible for artists to sell high-quality merchandise to the general public. We are NOT a record company. We created this program because we have seen many artists' musical talents wasted because of no outlets to gain exposure.
