Project Star
What is it?
Founded in 2009, PROJECT STAR is an concert educational program designed to present, promote, preserve and celebrate music. The concert series, its performances, educational activities and publications are administered by The Bluegoose Blues Foundation, a non-profit corporation.
PROJECT STAR is an outlet for those serious musicians to get their music heard. Our mission is to create a avenue for independent artists to gain exposure throughout the United States by touring in selected cities. We will create venues, hire headliners to bring the crowd, and allow PROJECT STAR members to showcase their talents. Also, we will work with other promoters allowing you the chance to perform throughout the US.

Our Mission
Our goal is to open musical markets that everyday people, under financial constraints, coud not open. All proceeds generated through and for PROJECT STAR benefit artists by creating markets to produce musical stars and attract a fan base to support them.
Members
We welcome all genres of music to participate in PROJECT STAR. Becoming a member is easy! Write and send us a sample of your music. We screen all music before enrollment. Our mission is to create stars, do you have what it takes?
As a member of the Bluegoose Blues Foundation's PROJECT STAR, you will have the chance to tour throughout the south to promote your genre of music. All members will perform and have the opportunity to sell merchandise at each venue. We offer assistance in CD duplication for completed projects, making it possible for artists to sell high-quality merchandise to the general public. We are NOT a record company. PROJECT STAR simply offers entertainers the chance to market themselves by creating venues to fully develop their craft.
